SelectUSA (National Harbor, Maryland)
May 11 – 14, 2025
ECD will be hosting a 20 x 20’ booth space at the 2025 SelectUSA show taking place in May just outside D.C. TEP will be helping to support programming at the booth, including an open bar during the receptions on both Monday, May 12 (4-6 p.m.) and Tuesday, May 13 (4-6 p.m.). Additionally, TEP will be providing giveaways to encourage more traffic to the booth for optimal networking opportunities, including Rendezvous seasonings, Goo Goo Clusters, Chattanooga Whiskey suckers and Colonel Littleton drink koozies. TEP representatives in attendance will be asked to work shifts at the booth to ensure it is properly staffed throughout the event. We will host an event pre-call closer to the event for all TEP members planning to attend. If you are planning to be at SelectUSA, but have not have signed up to attend through the Sign-Up Genius link, please reach out to Jena or Abby, so that you can be included in the pre-call invite and see the booth shift schedule.
ECD International Rep Partnerships (Travel Stipends around SelectUSA + GovCon)
May/November
TEP is sponsoring the cost of flights for ECD FDI representatives to visit during SelectUSA in May and the Governor’s Conference in November. Additionally, we are working to plan a networking breakfast on Tuesday, May 13 for TEP representatives to spend time with ECD’s FDI representatives and learn more about what they are working on and how our communities can best work with them.
BIO (Boston)
June 16 – 19
TEP will sponsor Life Science Tennessee’s reception during BIO in Boston this June. Life Science Tennessee will host a booth at the show, and those attending are asked to sign up to assist in staffing the booth. All attendees are also invited to attend the Tennessee reception on Wednesday, June 18. Reception details are still being coordinated, but LST is targeting early evening from 5 – 7 p.m. We will have limited complimentary and discounted registrations available, and we will be in touch with those signed up to coordinate those registration details.
Lunch with the Commissioner (Chicago)
September 2025
TEP is working closely with the State of Tennessee Department of ECD to host a luncheon for top-tier Chicago-area site selection consultants. We are working to firm up a date, and we will be in touch with additional details once confirmed. At this time, this event is full, and we have a long waiting list of additional TEP members who have expressed interest in attending should additional space open.
Northeast Tennessee Red Carpet Tour (Kingsport)
October 1-3
NETWORKS Sullivan Partnership has been awarded a red carpet tour grant. They plan to revamp their event this year with a stronger lean toward roots with country music, hosting 9-12 consultants at the MeadowView Hotel in Kingsport on October 1-3. They will have a Bristol Motor Speedway experience for the guests, as well as an RCAM tour, songwriter’s reception, tour at TN Hills Distillery and optional outings such as golf and driving tours.
SEUS Japan (Tokyo, Japan)
October 28 - 29
TEP will be working closely with ECD to support the State Reception during SEUS Japan. We will plan to serve Tennessee inspired bites, as well as Tennessee whiskey and Nashville-based Proper Sake for enjoyment at the event. Consultants and delegates attending the event will receive a Tennessee gift at the conclusion of the event.
GovCon (Murfreesboro)
November 4 - 5
TEP will sponsor the 2025 Governor’s Conference. TEP will also cover the cost of flights for ECD FDI representatives to visit during the Governor’s Conference. More information about TEP’s involvement in the conference to come.
2026 SEUS Japan (Nashville)
October 25 – 27, 2026
Tennessee will be the host state for the 48th Annual Joint Meeting of the SEUS/Japan Associations, which will be held at the JW Marriott Nashville on October 25 – 27, 2026. TEP is working closely with ECD the Japan-America Society of Tennessee to create a successful program. More details about the agenda will be shared in the coming months.
